Crevecoeur-en-Brie
Friday 8th August
It did rain on an off in the night, but although cloudy for much of the time, we've had a warm dry day until 6ish. Last night actually wasn't terribly restful - people seemed to be returning from Disneyland at any time up till about 1am and we are pitched on the first road through the site, so all vehicles have to pass us! Our Dutch neighbours were one of the last ones back and they made quite a thing of banging their car doors, talking and thumping around making beds in their caravan. Still, we didn't have to get up early. The land is a bit flat around here, but perfect for a bike ride. So we set off through the countryside, visiting the villages of Marles-en-Brie, La Houssaye-en-Brie and back to Crevecoeur-en-Brie (not yet come across the Cheese Factory!!),
finding 3 geocaches en route and stopping by a small fishing lake for a breather. I got stuck into my jigsaw puzzle this afternoon so didn't get round to having that dip in the pool. Expect there will be plenty more opportunities.
